By Sri Skanda’s Warrior of Light

Last night, I dreamt I was with a huge gathering of devotees in a house. I was with my mother — she and I were waiting to have a private interview with an important person. When we entered the room, there was a tall handsome young man in his early 20s standing before us. He was wearing a white veshti and was smiling at us both. I prostrated at His feet while thinking of Bhagavan Sri Skanda. While I was doing this I heard Him speak [in Tamil],”Murugan unna paatu ellaam kEtu-kondra-iruku-rare..avarE unna nalla pidit-chi-thu…aanaal, avar unna vadivaa-keka-illaye…nee koncha pelluthu padikOnum.” [English Translation: Murugan is hearing your sadhana of devotional singing (thevaaram, thiruppugal, kanthar anubhuthi)…He is pleased with you…But he needs to hear you clearly so you need to sing more loudly.”]
With that I awoke. I’m not sure what this means. However as the day went on, I realized that Murugan was speaking through that saint to tell me to gather more devotees to sing these sacred thevaaram, thiruppugal and kanthar anubhuthi pathigams — because right now I’m only singing it either alone or with my mother.
