Last night, I dreamt that I was situated somewhere and I had a vision of a peacock. Then I closed my eyes and thought of Lord Murugan. When I did that, Skanda Guru Kavasam began chanting in my mind. I opened my eyes to see a beautiful black vigraham (statue) of Lord Murugan. It was approximately 3-4 feet tall.

Upon seeing it, I instinctively started pouring water on it. I then gave Murugan a milk abishekam. I recall touching the face of the statue and moving my hands all the way down to his feet.

When I awoke, I told my mother to schedule an abishekam to be done for `Lord Skanda at our local Hindu Temple.
